The proposed board
The board is designed so that no single commercial interest holds a majority. No appointments have
been made yet: incorporation is pending. This page sets out the intended composition and will list
members once they are appointed.
Intended composition
- Chair
- Independent of any delivery firm, Assayer or founder interest.
- Independent members
- Expertise in AI evaluation and assurance, and in audit and risk.
- Public-interest member
- A seat reserved for non-commercial representation.
- Founder representative
- On behalf of OAI Limited, which contributed the IDEA standard. Cannot carry a decision alone.
Board members will record and manage conflicts of interest: a member with an interest in a matter declares it and does not vote on it. Appointments and changes will be published as Notices.
